<< BackArnie Simmel '43 learns of the death of friend Isabel Witte Kenrick '43... Arnie Simmel '43 wrote in with sad news: "I received word from the family of Isabel Witte Kenrick '43 that she had died suddenly. She was a loving and lovable friend, a good scholar, committed work for peace and human decency. After a friendship of almost 70 years she will be remembered with affection."
From the family: "It is with deep and aching sorrow that we are letting you know that our mother, Dr Isabel Howland Witte Kenrick, has died. She was in her own home and fell, hitting her head badly so it would seem that she died very quickly.
We welcome you to join us in facing up to Isabel's death, celebrating her life and letting her go.
The funeral will take place at 11am on Thursday the 4th of February 2010 at Lancaster Road Methodist Church, Notting Hill, London . It will be led by the Revd Donald Eadie.
The burial will take place in the afternoon or on the following day. No flowers, any donations to the Migrant and Refugees Communities Forum W10 (www.mrcf.org.uk)
