Rockland, Maine Alumni/ae Gathering

Event Description - Rockland, Maine Alumni/ae Gathering

We are very pleased to have our Maine Alumni/ae Gathering at The Old Granite Inn - a lovely Bed and Breakfast owned and operated by CSW alumna, Joan Harkness Hantz '63 and her husband (and incredible chef), Edwin Hantz.  Visit http://www.oldgraniteinn.com for more pictures and information about the B&B.

Christine Marston Chamberlain '63 is working with Joan on creating a gathering to remember.

Joan and Edwin's B&B is located in Rockland, ME, at 546 Main Street.  It has six rooms and one suite that can sleep up to four people.

Joan is offering a 10% reduced rate to CSW alumni/ae who would like to stay at the inn.  But space is limited, so reserve your room early!  Rates include a full breakfast.

Call 800-386-9036 or 207-594-9036 and ask for Joan to make a reservation. You can also email Joan at ogi@midcoast.com.   If there is "no room at the inn", Joan can help get you reservations at another B&B.  **If you need a place to stay that allows pets, try
http://www.navigatorinn.com

The gathering is spread over two nights to help with those of you who have to travel longer distances.  Though it is primarily a Saturday event, we hope some will come for an overnight on Friday and stay for the lunch on Saturday and a tour of local artisans.

Space is limited to 40 people, so be sure to register using the link above.

“The marine biology course changed my life. Niki Crowell taught us the fine arts of marine invertebrates and the wonderful way the ocean smells. She ignited the oceans for me and she is the reason I have my profession.”
